4/3/2023 – Off Day in Austin We rolled into Austin, TX yesterday around 4:30pm knowing that we had a place to stay with indoor plumbing and a bed. What we didn’t know (I think The Bob knew), is that we were going to get treated better than royalty, but without the paparazzi!
It's so nice to hear about the good in the world. Each time I tune into your blog I'm reminded of life and for a brief moment forget about all the negative, I can just enjoy the adventure.
Sometimes we forget that it really cost us nothing to be kind. Dewayne reminded me the other night that people may forget what you did but will always remember the way you made them feel. Amazing how that works.
As we said this morning when we hugged you guys goodbye, it truly was our pleasure having you stay here with us. You’re each amazing in your own way, but collectively doing such an incredibly inspiring thing together! We look forward to seeing you again soon, and as the saying goes, “may the wind always be at your back” and the second half of this adventure just as safe and satisfying as the first half!
