Greetings from Del Rio! I don’t have much to share tonight as the day was pretty bland. We did more shopping, worked on Hank a little, organized things inside the OREM, and I patched two inner tubes. Necessary stuff, but boring. The highlight of the day was my masterful preparation of Sloppy Joe’s for dinner. Deborah had never had one, but I think she’s a fan now. Fun facts: Sloppy Joe’s originated in Cuba, and Ernest Hemingway was involved in bringing them to the U.S.
Early tomorrow we’ll be picking up where we last stopped, 61 miles west of Del Rio, and because we’ll still be relatively close at the end of the day, we will be staying with Deborah for one more night. The days ahead look interesting, with heat and rain lurking in our near future, but we’re steady & ready…good night all.
Hemingway brought alot of other things to the United States I’ve been told🫣! Sounds like you guys are ready for the home stretch, keep those bugs off your teeth as you have “ smiles for the “miles”!

Oh wow I haven’t had sloppy Joe’s in a couple of years do you use the can stuff or are you an originalist?
